I love to walk alongside leaders in church planting, leaders in the liminal space of change, and leaders in crisis. I’m a clear thinker and a non-anxious presence (Tami likens me to an ER doctor, ready for anything and wise for everything.) The family mantra is “Steve knows sh*t”.

If Steve is an ER doctor, I’m more like a postpartum nurse. I love to train and cheer on especially in the creation of new ministry. I fancy myself more of a mentor than coach. I have experience in culture forming and curriculum development. I am happy to mentch related to your current life issues or in creating curriculum for discipleship or for the training of small group leaders. My friends call me a “gospel broken record” for the grace of God in Christ is on repeat no matter what the conversation subject. I need the gospel always.

We love to help couples navigate their ministry, marriage, and family life. Since these are usually intertwined, it is beneficial to care for both/each of you, together! We call these DOUBLE DATES!

The coach/mentor (mentch) is an old guide through new or difficult terrain. We’re available to have conversations with individuals, couples, and leadership teams. Whatever the need, subject, or crisis at hand, we are ready to engage with you helping you gain solid footing and freedom.
